Current RMS settings delete the credit card information stored in the batch after authorization - a good method to keep customer credit card information secure, but what happens when a batch fails to settle? The batch is still deleted and the information stored in it lost, along with any sales you made.

What do you do then? Try to call the bank and hope that they managed to store your settlement information? That's the only option. If the bank does not have the information, what then? You may be at a loss; lost sales, lost merchandise, and lost services.
